Happy "Monday" {Can I go home now?}

Yes, yes I know... It's really Tuesday but it feels like Monday to me since I was off yesterday.

I just wanted to say hello and that I'm in the process of writing a really big blog post about my mini vacation. But since it is so big I start to get some writers block and have to step away from it for a while before I can continue. Plus, I'm adding pictures to it and I have to finish editing those. I am hoping I have time to finish it today while I am at work cause this week is a BUSY week and I want to get it all out while it's still fresh in my mind! {I confess that I was even writing it while still on the vacation! haha}

Tomorrow, I have a bridal shower to go to for my friend's wedding that I am in. Thursday is the rehearsal dinner and Friday is the wedding! WOO HOO! Zoie is going to be a flower girl and I am one of the bridesmaids. Can not wait! I am so happy for my friends Jaired and Lydia. They make such a good couple and they are very good for each other.

So how did you spend your 4th? Yesterday, Zoie and I went to Glen's grandparent's for lunch with his family. Walking into their house was almost a lil flash back for me beause it just smelled like a grandma's house, in a good way! Definitely reminded me being at my Grandma Walker's house {oh how I miss her!}. Of course, Zoie wouldn't let go of my leg most of the time, she is usually really shy around people she doesn't know. At first... Once you get her to open up, oh boy! She is CRAZY! I guess she is just like her mama! :) Although the best part of the lunch was when it was time to leave... Glen and Zo were on one side of the door and I was still on the other side... And they kept trying to ask Zoie questions {or something}. Instead of answering, Zo just walked back inside with "her big doe eyes" {as Glen mom says} grabs my hand and starts walking out of the door with me in hand. Hahaha. It was hilarious! Everyone got a kick out of it and was apparently calling it "pulling a Zoie." It was definitely one of those things where you just had to be there!

After lunch, we went back to Glen's for a little bit before heading back home. We went to Walmart first to get food for dinner, THEN home to cook and eat dinner with Glen and Zoie. Which not to stroke my ego but it was pretty damn good! {glad I have been blessed with some good cooking skills!} After dinner all three of us went into my room and watched "The Man Who Knew Too Little" on netflix, sent Zoie to bed after that was done; then Glen and I finished off the night with some True Blood before "going to sleep." :) Only a few more episodes of season 3 before Glen is FINALLY caught up with the series and then we can FINALLY start watching season 4! {which is already 2 shows in}

Alright! I do have some work that needs to be done and then I can finish my mini vacation story! :) Hope y'all have a happy "monday"!
