Sorry this is a day late! Been pretty busy... even at work! But I'll explain why that is later!
Woo Hoo! I had such an awesome weekend! :) Although I lack a lot of pictures... Really need to make a conscious effort to do that more often! :) Alright, on with it!
Friday: After work {still Zoie free} I went home, took care of my animals and did a little bit of house work waiting on Glen to come over. Once he got there, he informed me that we were going out to dinner. WOO HOO! So while he was taking a shower, I was getting ready. Knowing he LOVES it when I curl my hair, I thought to myself "heck... I might as well curl my hair!" SO I did :) Mmmm, I love my long hair!
We decided we would go to Applebees. Everything was great! Well except for the fact that they brought out the wrong sandwich for me. Apparently our waiter hit the wrong button, but he apologized right away and didn't charge me for my cheesy corn! {yum!} But once the new sandwich arrived I almost pretty full on appetizers and the corn. I managed to eat half of eat and bring the other half home.
Earlier that night, Rhonda {Zoie's grnadma} called me. She was bringing Chad and them back down AGAIN and she couldn't get Zo to answer her whether or not she wanted to go BACK up to Springfield with her or if she wanted to stay with mommy for a night. Finally I got an answer out of her, she wanted to stay the night with mommy but as long as grandma was going to come pick her up Saturday so she could go with Rhonda to pick up her grandpa, Aunt Emily, and Uncle Brandon from the airport. Okay, so back to dinner... Well, after dinner... Glen and I went back to my house real quick to grab a piece of pie for my dad that I've been telling him about and that he needed to try {Pumpkin Turtle Pie...mmmmm sooooo good!} After grabbing the pie we headed to my parent's to pick Zo up because that's where Rhonda dropped her off. Well long story short, since my sister Kristie and her two girls were staying the night there OF COURSE Zoie didn't want to leave, she wanted to stay too! Kristie told her she could stay as long as she didn't do any whining! lol {By the way, Dad really enjoyed the pie} :) So Glen and I headed BACK to my house without Zoie, we just relaxed and enjoyed each other's company.
Saturday: Woke up pretty early Saturday morning... I was pretty much waiting for my sister to text me to tell me that she was ready for me to come pick up Zoie! So I got ready and once Kristie said it was time, I headed over there to pick up Zoie. When we got back to my house, Glen was up making breakfast for us. YUM!!! {eggs, bacon and blueberry pancakes} We all ate really good! But mmmmm, makes me hungry just thinking about it! After breakfast Glen had to leave to help his mom do some drywall but Zoie and I headed over to my friend Ciera's new house to spend some time with her! YAY! Loved seeing her! It had been way too long... Well since her birthday was last week we decided we go do lunch but my treat for her birthday! Ciera, Zoie, and I ate at the Chinese Buffet, mmm delicious. {Man, I really need to stop talking about food!} After lunch all of us headed back to my house to talk and chill.

It was definitely much needed and I really have been needing some quality girl time! After dropping Ciera back off at her house, I took Zoie to get her hair trimmed. Zoie did so well at the hair place. After the gal trimmed her hair, she asked if I wanted anything else with her hair. Hmmm I asked Zoie what she wanted. She said she wanted hair like Grace, I said no, cause Grace's hair is too short! Well only because Zoie is in dance class {DAZZLERS! The dance studio that is in town competing dance team!} So I decided Zoie should have some long layers. Oh it looks so good! Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of it, Zoie said she didn't like it because it didn't almost touch her butt anymore... I kept trying to explain to her that Grace's hair was MUCH shorter! I tried again why she didn't like it all she would say was that "It was stinky." Psssh, only my child! So I asked her why it was stinky... Her response? "Cause it's REALLY stinky, hahahahaha." Needless to say I gave up, I think maybe she didn't "like" it cause it wasn't what SHE wanted! Maybe next time baby girl.
After Zoie's hair cut, I headed back to my house to pack Zoie's bag full of clothes, once again! And then after packing we headed over to my parent's to wait for Rhonda to come pick her up. Rhonda was running a little behind, but no worries. She came and picked up Z and off she went! I headed back home to meet Glen, who was cooking a yummy dinner! Mmmm, more food! He made such an awesome meal and since it was a late dinner and we were both feeling like naps... Well we took a "nap", which turned into sleeping. Whoops. I did set an alarm and I did try to wake him up... He even checked his texts messages he got BUT the next morning he doesn't even recall doing that. lol But we woke up about 6:30 and was pretty much ready for the day!
Sunday: Oh Sunday! It was definitely the best day of my weekend! Glen made breakfast AGAIN! {woo hoo! glad my bf likes to cook for me!} We decided that Sunday was the best day to go get our swim on so we did! About 2 we picked up his friend Matt and headed to the freeeburg pool. Glen loves the diving board! I even have some videos of him "diving"...

Glen even FINALLY convinced me to try to front flip off the dive, instead of jumping in...

Anyways, swimming and tanning was A LOT of fun! My legs FINALLY are starting to look tan, now if only they can catch up with my arms! I told Glen it'd be great if your arms could soak up all the sun and distribute it evenly over the rest of your body! Only in a perfect world. *humph* After swimming we went back to Glen's house to hang out with some of his friends before heading to Baxter's to play billiards with another one of his friends. I didn't play a lot, I was feeling kind of icky, like there was a lot of pressure in my sinuses. So I sat mostly but I still had a good time. After Baxter's, Glen and I went home and relaxed!
Ahhhh, such an amazing weekend. Hopefully this weekend can top that! And next weekend is Zoie's 5th birthday party! Zoie is going to be 5 in SEVEN days! Wow. Craziness, kids really do grow up sooooo fast. So all you new mothers out there.... Cherish EVERY moment, EVERY hug, and EVERY kiss! Anyways, hope y'all have a great day!
