It's Time!

Okay! Enough with the slackin', it's time for a REAL update! I have been REALLY behind on updating. SHAME ON ME! I've said it before, I haven't just been slacking on my blog... The house work as taken the hit too. I really don't know what changed all of a sudden but it really needs to get back to normal. I can't stand a messy/cluttered house, but it's one of those things you keep putting it off... And keep putting it off, before you know it is all STACKED and you take a look at it... Start dreading how much work it will take and walk away. Oops. I am definitely guilty of that! {Glen too} But that all changes TODAY! I am FORCING myself to start tackling it! {Especially the huge pile of clean laundry that is downstairs waiting to be put away}

I think part of it, is just me wanting to spend as much time with Glen and Zoie. Glen has a GREAT new position at work... It will definitely be opening up a lot of opportunities for him {and us}, especially since his work is paying for him to get trained in what he needs to do... So free schooling for him! We knew we were expecting him to start working funky hours and to start going out of town... But I almost thought we'd have a little more warning then what we had... Oh well! He normally works days (7am-4pm) but Monday he worked from 7am to 11am and was sent home cause he had to work again that night at 9pm until EARLY in the morning... I don't think he got off work til around 9am. THEN something else was "thrown" at him... They told him that the next morning {Wednesday} that he would be leaving town with a crew for Arkansas until Sunday... And Sunday isn't even a for sure thing... Just depends on how long it takes them to do the job they need to do. So from now on, having plans with Glen could possibly be difficult... Can't plan too far ahead cause we don't know what will be thrown at him. But for the record... I am totally okay with that. I love Glen and honestly he is the first man I've been with that our relationship feels like a TRUE partnership. Soooo thankful to have him! But I do miss him.

Although Z is a lil excited cause with Glen away... if she behaves... I'm letting her sleep with me. Thankfully she is old enough to understand when she can and can't sleep with mommy so I don't have to worry about her throwing a fit if she can't... But whatever. I hate sleeping alone. :(

Anyways... More updates... This Saturday... is my 25th birthday. Holy. Crap. 25? Really? Makes me feel "old"... Enough of the pity party, this Saturday is also a wedding for my cousin Claude and his fiance Sommer. Glad she already fits in perfectly with the family! Zo is in the wedding and I'm still trying to decide how I want to do her hair! Decisions... Decisions... Have any ideas? Also, for the wedding... since I didn't have a dress to wear, I hit up my oldest sister's closet. Tried on dress after dress after dress... And found 3 that I LOVE. Good thing we have 2 weddings to go to this month! And thank goodness for my sister and having so many dresses! She is a life saver and saver of money from my wallet... Lol. Last time Zo and I were in a wedding, I forgot to take ANY pictures of us... This time I will NOT forget!

Wow... This post is getting pretty lengthy... Sorry for the lack of pics... Haven't been keeping up on that. So yeah... That's about it.
