I was just trying to think of what I would like to write about today...
Still, really don't have a clue.
EXCEPT.
I was just checking to see my views, to see where all that goodness stood.
And I had 105 views... JUST FROM TODAY!
What? What!
Yeah, I am just as surprised as you are.
But thankful!
Life is good :)
And NOT just because of my 105 views TODAY.
I am really enjoying eating BETTER!
Eating is pretty much constantly on my mind, cause I want to look and feel better.
And so far, eating healthier isn't nearly as hard as I thought!
Once you release all those unnecessary calories you are eating when you eat fast food
it is SUPER easy to cut it out of your eating habits.
Soooooo easy.
For example...
When I would eat DQ.
I would usually get a 4 piece Chicken Strip Basket.
YUM!
YUM!
Yeah, not anymore!
Can you guess how many calories are in it?
400?
500?
650?
WRONG. None of the Above!
Try over 1300 Calories! {source}
HUH?
I was shocked when I seen it.
And to put it in perspective... On my "Lose It" app on my phone, my daily calorie limit is
1200 per day!
Yeah, that chicken strip basket isn't worth starving for the rest of the day!
Needless to say, I've pretty much kicked fast food out of my diet.
Except for when I get a strong craving for Arby's.
There is no denying myself that! But I will only eat there ONCE a week.
And to make things even better, Glen is all for eating healthy with me!
Last night, I made spaghetti... out of spaghetti squash!
Although, has a different texture and taste ....
but for 42 calories/cup VS 200 calories/cup for regular spaghetti noodles,
oh heck yeah!
(I'll post the recipe sometime soon)
Plus with some good sauce you can't really tell much of a difference. :)
Anyways, better get back to work!

no no no no - why did you have to tell me that. i LOVE me a good DQ chicken strip basket.
i never eat the gravey so maybe that helps. if not i'm just going to tell myself that. lol.
