Of course, the weekend flew by!
Friday night was laid back, Glen was working a double.
I put Zoie's hair in rollers before bed for her dance competition Saturday.
Glen didn't get home from work til 4:30 am!
Needless to say he didn't make it to the competition.
But that's okay! After I got ready in the morning, I started getting Zoie ready.
For past competitions, I have just curled her hair with a curling iron
because we didn't have the foam rollers... Well I didn't know where they were.
But this time her hair turned out great! I was worried that curling her hair
before having to tease the big bump, that the curls would look too frizzy.
But they turned out great.
The competition was good! They walked away with High Silver.
They have been changing parts of the routine and some of the girls got confused
at one part and they messed up for a little bit but they recovered!
Glad they got High Silver!
I'm sure they'll get lots of practice before the next competition,
which is only 2 weeks away!
After the competition, we went home.
We had Tazaia stay the night.
The girls had TONS of fun playing... They didn't even go to bed til after 12!
CRAZY.
Plus, they didn't even sleep in!
Zoie was crabby! Til I made her take a nap later on in the day.
Glen was gone at a friend's working on his car all day, attempting to fix it.
Zo and I stopped by there for a couple hours before coming back home and heading to bed.
I was slightly lazy this weekend.
Didn't get much house work done, but I intend to during the week after work.
Wish me luck.
